Dreamy Weekend in NYC - The Millennium Hotel

My dreamy weekend in New York City, was even dreamier thanks to my safe stay at the Millenium Hotel Hilton, Downtown New York City.

This is my third time in the city that never sleeps, but first time staying in a hotel in NYC, ever. I am always staying with friends, as I am wary of hotels, especially during COVID-19.

The check in process helped to alleviate such fears, however. There was a glass barrier at the desk, separating the front desk staff from the guest and their efficiency limited the amount of exposure time to other guests.

They also made sure to limit the amount of people in the lobby at a given time.

The beautiful ambiance of the receptionist area left high expectations for how the room would look, and it didn’t disappoint!

My favorite aspect of my room was the view! NYC boasts of high rises en masse, and of course my hotel was no exception. The Hilton Millennium’s 55 floors have rooms with wide windows that provide just enough sunlight and a beautiful scenery. The hotel is right across from the World Trade Center (whose architecture is absolutely stunning).

The bed was comfy, the bathroom was nice and standard with nice makeup friendly amenities. Other amenities include a TV, fridge, complimentary water, and a coffee maker. I did feel like some amenities needed upgrading, like the alarm clock speaker that could have been a Bluetooth speaker (you needed to connect your phone with a cord….boo!).

Altogether I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The view was the best part for me! From my bedroom I saw the Hudson River from afar and was even able to do a beautiful sunrise montage.

It is also very well situated! The hotel was located right above a subway which means easy access to any of the really awesome districts of New York.

Altogether I had an amazing time in New York City --- see pictures below for everything I did! Thanks to Millenium Hotel Hilton for the optimal stay and I can’t wait for NYC to fully reopen again to enjoy the other amenities the hotel has to offer.

Millenium Hotel is budget friendly, and check the options here for rates!

Till later xo Titó
